The following is a step by step guide to walk you through the process.

Step 1: Submit a Formal Application & Any Supporting Documents

Interested models must first complete a formal application through the studio’s online application form. This form will be sent to our studio owner, who will then review the application. Models should pay close attention to the details of their application as all requested information is required before an application can be accepted.

Models are also encouraged to send photos or content to the studio for promotional use. Such content is often posted to our members only section when models are going through the application process to help gauge member interest and gain feedback on applicants. Any sample content can be attached to the initial application or can be subsequently e-mailed directly to our records account at records@innocent.com where it will be kept in the model’s electronic file.

Step Two: Scheduling an Audition

Once a model has a formal request to join on record, she will be invited to audition. Auditions are a mandatory step in the application process and can be conducted in person or virtually online. Virtual auditions are conducted using video chat. In person auditions are reserved for select models located within driving radius of the studio’s physical location.

The goal of the audition process is to give a model the opportunity to demonstrate that she is ready, able, and willing to perform as directed. Models apply to join Studio Innocent from varying levels of experience, so the goal is to test a model in a way to see if she would be a good representative of the Innocent brand; it is not a test for specific skills.

Auditions are unique to each model and there is no set structure to how models will be asked to perform. Models are generally given at least 30 minutes for their audition, although more time is allowed if needed. Before starting each audition, a model will be asked a list of questions to determine her level of experience and performance abilities in order to guide the process. The studio remains mindful of a model’s level of experience in order to allow a model to demonstrate herself to the best of her abilities. Nevertheless, we do advise models to be mindful that Studio Innocent is a fetish-oriented studio, so do be ready to perform a kink/fetish during the audition.

Step 3: Formal Interview

If a model performs well during the audition and gives the impression that she would be a good candidate to represent the Studio Innocent label, she is then invited back for a follow up interview to discuss studio policies and expectations. The interview is also a time for the studio to learn about a model, her career ambitions, and discuss specific areas for the studio to help the model grow.

Interviews, on average, take around an hour to an hour and a half depending on how much input a model wishes to give about herself. Interviews will also have very specific questions for models, so do be ready to talk about yourself during this stage in the process.

Step 4: Commitment To Join

Once a model has successfully applied, auditioned, and interviewed, she will then be invited to join the studio. Models are expected to agree to and abide by studio policies which are discussed during the interview. At this stage in the process, models are granted the privilege of representing the Innocent label and gain access to the benefits of being a model with Studio Innocent.

Final Notes

Studio Innocent has an open, yet competitive, application process; models of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. At any point during the application process a model can be rejected if the studio has cause to believe the model would not be a good representative of our brand. Models are encouraged to ask questions about the studio before joining and our website has several resources to learn more about Studio Innocent.

Developing A Clientele

Developing A Clientele: The Importance of Communication

In every business, the cost of maintaining an existing customer is lower than the cost of acquiring a new customer. In fact, it’s 1/5th of the cost of finding a new customer, and increasing customer retention by 5% can increase revenue by 25-95%. I know that’s alot of math to start with, but just so you know how serious customer retention is and how serious these numbers are allow me to share my source: The Value Of Keeping The Right Customers. That’s right it’s directly from the Harvard Business Review and this article quite possibly could solve many of your camgirl problems. Just like most mainstream businesses you’re income will mainly consist of regular customers who rely on your consistency and ability to keep them coming back for more. Camming isn’t that different, whether you perform live on camsites like Streamate, MFC or live on Skype, having a large group of repeat clients is essential to success.

When business is brisk, it’s easy to get used to cruising along by simply responding to and serving the clients that come to you, but the extra time you spend on tending to your garden of regulars during the good times will pay off in the slow times. I didn’t make that plant-based reference lightly–maintaining client relationships really is a lot like caring for a living thing. Some clients are like air plants–mist them with water once in awhile and they’ll be just fine–while others are delicate orchids, requiring expert care and attention out of all proportion to the beauty of their bloom. Before I stretch these similes too far, let’s get to 3 steps to maintain contact with regular clients to increase their spending on you, and to reduce the impact of the slow season.

Step 1: Open Up The Lines Of Communication
If you’re doing shows on Skype, this is simple–once you’ve done a show with someone, you have their Skype ID and can easily contact them at any time that way. Performing for a client on a cam site? Make sure add them as a friend and even make a note if the platform has the feature (such as on MFC). Live streaming sites sometimes make direct one-on-one contact with your clients outside of your chat room slightly difficult, so when up against a poorly designed user interface, use a word document to save information. Another means of keeping track of clients is to seek out a way to communicate with them outside of the site of your choice, share a public snapchat, ask for their e-mail, or add them on twitter; several options are available, you just need to put in the work of cultivating your list.

Step 2: Maintain Customer Notes
A list of your past paying customers that you can contact is great, but without accurate notes, every interaction feels like the very first time, which offers little benefit to the returning customer. Many of our clients enjoy variety and “fresh meat”–this explains the “new model” label often prominently displayed on sites, and the associated drop in earnings many models experience after their first month of camming. To avoid losing customers to the newest models, you need to offer value that the girls can’t. Your main advantage over a model that is new to the customer is your past experience together.
Leverage that experience by using your notes to “remember” each customer. Keep track of customer information including screen name, real name (if you know it), date of most recent show, average show length, details of any special requests/fetishes/outfits they have enjoyed in the past, and any other details that might help build a connection (perhaps a common interest, or a unique interest of theirs). Each client gets a VIP experience when you “remember” their preferences from one show to the next, which also saves time when setting up shows, as you already have an idea of what they are looking for.

Step 3: Create An Outreach Plan
There are two ways to organize your customer outreach communications plan: regular time-based schedule, and flexible one-to-one messaging when you notice a certain period of time has elapsed since your most recent show with a client. Choose your plan based on your style and the amount of time and effort you are willing to put into communication to maintain a connection with regular clients in between paid shows. However you choose to structure your plan, try to include a mix of the following communication types:
Targeted sales message: New fetish videos up for sale? Write a short 2-3 sentence message mentioning your new content and send it individually to the clients on your list who enjoy that type of fetish. Write one message and copy-paste it to each with their name at the top, so that it has a more personal touch. This works best for content and scheduled themed cam shows. Anything that specifically applies to that customer–if it is more of a general interest type of thing, it may be more time-effective to send a mass mailing.

Personal Note: As I mentioned earlier, find their interests, which sometimes comes up in conversation with clients, especially those that follow on Snapchat or Twitter. Note down the interests of regular clients, and occasionally drop them a message about that interest, send funny GIFs, or a quick message about the topic. Sending personal messages about common interests creates a nice rapport for very little effort. Some clients may read this as an open invitation to talk more about the shared interest for free, but I find that ignoring or redirecting their replies once or twice re-establishes that boundary for most.

Mass Mailing: When offering discounted rates for content or services, if working with another model in the near future, or just wanting to remind clients that I’m alive without wanting to take the time to customize the content of the message, send out mass emails. On Skype you copy-paste the same message to everyone, on sites with a group message function use it to send out identical information. It’s very handy, but fair warning, if you overuse mass mailings it becomes quite spammy and can turn off some clients.

Conclusion
Some cam models prefer not to communicate with their customers in any unpaid fashion–there is nothing wrong with any approach to customer communication that works for you. If, however, you struggle to maintain a steady flow of repeat clients, the steps above may be worth trying to improve your retention rate. Remember, though, that all customers have an expiration date, and that the best regular client may suddenly stop doing shows with you for reasons that have nothing to do with you. Also, please note that none of the steps above are aimed towards maintaining a client as yours and yours alone–I do not think it is productive or sustainable to try to force clients to make you the only model they spend money on.

Most models enjoy reaching out regularly to repeat clients, and find that keeping up with communication helps keep their income stable across slow times, because they are not constantly searching for new spenders. It takes some time to set up and test the different ideas to see what works for you, but over time it becomes easier and almost automatic.

Water your garden regularly and reap the rewards at harvest time!

Technology Advice

turned on black laptop computer on table

In 2018 the porn industry has evolved into so many sectors that Cam model Technology has become a term that’s sought out more than ever. How do I become a camgirl? What tools do I need to become a web-cam model? Well after the decline in DVD sales for the porn industry, streaming porn became the go to for adult entertainment. And not long after that viewers began turning towards live interactive porn. The popularity of cam models has grown and now more people are seeing it as a viable career option.

Cammodel Technology Do’s And Don’ts

Cam Model Technology- Your Computer
I always recommend to new cam models to acquire a Windows Based PC. While it is possible to cam with a Mac, a large number of cammers will find the software required by the major websites to be incompatible. And not only the software but you may run into hardware issues as well. Important devices like your external webcam my not work appropriately if using a Mac.

What You Will Need
Computer desktop or laptop. You can use a Laptop instead of a desktop, however most Laptops cannot be upgraded and overheat very quickly due to space limitations. If you purchase a Laptop a few benchmarks to check for are: 8gb ram. Having a sufficient amount of ram ensures your ability to multitask while live streaming. Many sites like Streamate will require you to use software like the Adobe Broadcaster or the new Streamate Broadcaster. Having more memory can make sending out sales items to paying customers a lot easier. If you have a desktop you will be able to expand your memory to at least 16gb of ram. Although desktops aren’t as mobile as a laptop they are far better for upgrades and keeping your cpu at a lower temperature.

Recommended Webcams
An external webcam will create a smoother and a more crisp image than the built in webcam that comes with your laptop. Most internal webcams are too grainy and lack the ability to stream in true HD.

Logitech C920 OR Logitech c922- found at most Targets, BestBuys and Office Supply stores. You can even get it online at Amazon. Be sure to do a price match for the item at customer service when buying your webcam in stores. The Logitech C920 Is the gold standard among cam models.

Logitech BCC950- is a bit on the pricey side at around $199, but it does come with a remote that makes zooming in and out very convenient. Also it only streams in 720p vs the 1080p with the C920

High Speed Internet
When you contact your ISP Internet Service Provider, be sure to ask about their upload speeds. When it comes to Cam model Technology and live streaming upload speeds are more important than the download speed. Depending on the site you choose to work on what is required will vary. Personally I don’t like to stream on any cam-site with no less than an upload speed of 5mb. It is completely possible to stream on sites like Streamate, Imlive and Cams with less. But I would definitely recommend getting an upgrade as soon as possible. Also you should always hard wire your system to your modem with an Ethernet cable. This allows you to have a strong and uninterrupted signal while broadcasting.

Lighting
Having great lighting can be so important and increase your money. Its so key and often times over looked. In fact you may be able to slide with a low end computer and less expensive webcam if you set your lights up correctly. Practice in the mirror and figure out what your best angles are. Try to avoid casting shadows on your face while accenting problem areas. One key move is to use Three Point Lighting as your guide. You will want to place your lamps BEHIND the webcam to the left and the right. Placing soft filler lights behind you can give a nice warm glow in your background.

Recommended Lighting
Multi-Head Lamps–  Think of the one you used in your college dorm, commonly found at Target or Walmart. They cost around $19.99 and $30 with light bulbs. Remember place the lamp behind the webcam and turn the lights upward. Avoid shining it directly on your face.

Umbrella Lights- More expensive but definitely a good investment. They provide a broader light direction and can cover a larger area.

Soft Boxes- More directional and can give a very softglow when placed closer to the subject. These are even more expensive but well worth it for a professional cam model.

Why You Should Work With A Studio

INCREASED VIEWS & PROMOTIONAL TRAFFIC
Naturally, studios can also increase traffic to a model in all regards. Rather it be to social media pages, independent content selling outlets, or to personal pages. Studios tend to accumulate loyal followings due to the nature of having a recognized label. When a model joins a studio, she becomes a representative of the studio’s label and represents the mission and values of the organization she joins. Thus, fans of the studio know that any model working with the studio will be ready, able, and willing to produce content that cater to their specific interests.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT
Another benefit to working with a studio is performance improvement. Many studios direct their models during both live and recorded performances. However, some studios like Studio Innocent will often train their models to help improve their performance skills. In fact, at Studio Innocent, most models sign with us for training sessions as this is seen as the most valuable aspect of what we offer. Chances are, if you browse any number of platforms, you’ll see models with lackluster performances in their content that are hardly a turn on and often are a turn off. At the end of the day most members seek out content providers and subscribe to content selling pages for sexual gratification and they want to see a worthwhile performance, one from a model that they can look forward to coming back to again and again.

STRATEGIC PLANNING
Planning is another benefit of working with a studio. Chances are, if you decided to become a content creator and adult model, you’ve also decided to go all in. You may dream of rising through the ranks and becoming a top model, but you just don’t know how to get there. Well, working with a studio is a good way to strategize about the things you need to do to accomplish your goals. Often studios will tell you how to market yourself, they may even do your marketing for you. Studios can also help with tasks like video planning, directing, and editing. They can help book your shows and develop your client base for you. Planning is crucial to becoming a successful model and is one of the most important details missed by the majority of models.

INCREASED INCOME
Perhaps one of the most important potential perks of working with a studio would be income increases. When working with a studio naturally you’re going to increase your chances of making more money. This stems from all of the above benefits that most studios bring to the table. Two heads are often better then one, so when a model works with help and support behind the scenes they should undoubtedly do better then a model with no help whatsoever.

TECH SUPPORT
Moreover, a studio can also help a model with technical support. This is a benefit that is crucial for newer models trying to figure out how to best position themselves for success. Often when a model joins the industry, she is coming in cold and does not have any knowledge or experience with independent content creation. By working with a studio, you can learn valuable information such as what type of technology to purchase, how to adjust settings that affect lighting, sound, and other issues. At the end of the day, no matter how sexy a girl is or how well she can perform, no one wants to watch content with terrible quality, poor lighting, or even worse, no sound. These are common issues that plague new models and end up ruining them before they even have a chance to excel and appeal to new clients.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT
As an adult model you may want to explore new areas of the industry and grow your professional experience. Studio Innocent is part of an extended network of allied partners that work with adult models to find opportunities to participate in projects such as explicit photo shoots and adult video content creation. By joining Studio Innocent, you can gain direction towards working with other recognized brands within the adult industry. As Studio Innocent fully vets all allied affiliates models can be confident that they are associating with reputable outlets to work and partner with. Lastly, as an Innocent model, our models can be confident that their applications and portfolio will gain interest from affiliated partners within the industry due to the quality of the work that we do.

PERSONAL SUPPORT
Finally, and believe us when we say last but not least, moral and emotional support is one of the most important benefits of all to working with a studio. Let’s be honest, adult entertainment is a tough business. A model can be the youngest, fittest, best looking girl with the best assets to work with and still have bad nights or not succeed at all. Often times a subscriber, or client, will be rude to a model and you may question your value and worth in the sexual marketplace and your place in the world over all from a bad interaction. At the end of the day, a good studio will keep you grounded and help support you.

CONCLUSION
These potential perks are just several of many. As you can see, working with a studio can make all the difference from being a sub-par model and making it to the top. If you’ve found yourself eager to work with a studio after reading this post we highly encourage you to contact us to discuss working with Studio Innocent in the future.

Common Questions & Answers

THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.

ask blackboard chalk board chalkboard

When you say studio do you mean like a porn studio?
With the use of smart technology and the advent of social media apps like Twitter, Snapchat and Skype; the need for a brick and mortar studio has gone to the way side over the past decade. Yes, major adult studios are still in existence, however many independent or small operations have grown over the years. While Studio Innocent does do physical work in the area we are located in, most of the work we do is online based. With the use of a laptop, webcam, and smartphone an independent model can learn from us and communicate with us just as much as a model who is local.

Can you tell me a bit about what it’s like working with you?
Studio Innocent specializes in fetish work, as such, we specialize in BDSM, Slave/Master, kink, and fetish based content and performances. Models who join us are generally women who are interested in such sexual habits or have always wanted to explore such things. Our studio trains models to do kink and fetish based performances as it is one of the most enjoyable and lucrative niches of all when it comes to adult entertainment. From working with us, models gain access to a wealth of knowledge as well as one-on-one training sessions to improve and perfect their performance skills, they also gain other skills relating to the adult industry.

Do I have to pay you for your help?
The studio operates off of generous contributions from our fan base. Given that we are able to meet all operating costs from such contributions, models are not charged for any assistance we give them.

I’m interested in joining and want to do an audition/interview, what is the process?
All models who want to be considered to work with Studio Innocent must first audition. Auditions are offered in both remote and in-person settings. Remote auditions are conducted using video chat where a model is given the opportunity to demonstrate performance abilities. Applicants are generally given 30 minutes to perform, but can be given more time if allowed. In person auditions are by appointment and generally reserved for local models only.

Interviews are mostly conversation based and are our way of making sure a model is fit for our brand as a person. Mostly you’ll be answering a lot of questions so we can learn about you as a person and see what your background is like. During the interview a model is also informed about studio policies and expectations. We also discuss any special needs during the interview, such as scheduling matters, physical limitations or health concerns a model may have. To learn more about joining, click here.

How do we go about working together?
After completing an interview the studio will inform a model of its decision, usually immediately after. Before you are accepted into the studio you will have to agree to abide by all studio policies and expectations. Once you are accepted into the studio, we will also immediately plan training sessions and start working with you on the predetermined areas where support is needed. Working together can range from discussing content to be produced, live streaming, social media outreach, strategic planning, etc.

Training? What are the training sessions like?
For remote models, training sessions are often one-on-one meetings done using video call. During a session a model is often instructed on ways to perform or set to focus on a single performance task. Some sessions are one off, meaning a model should have a good grasp of the performance after one session, while others build upon themselves. Training can be performance based, meaning physical tasks, or mentally based, meaning learning concepts that help improve fetish performances. Training sessions can also be specific to workplace skills such as lighting, camera angles, and room arrangement.

What if I don’t want to do something?
Studio Innocent does its very best to document a model’s limits before they join and during their duration with the studio. While Studio Innocent generally encourages models to push themselves beyond their limits to grow as a person and have new sexual experiences, we also understand that some models can struggle with certain fetishes. Given that every model has a different background and body type some models are able to handle different sex acts better than others. That being said, models should always feel comfortable discussing their limits with the studio so that we can plan accordingly.

I don’t have a lot of equipment can I still be one of your models?
Yes, even without a whole treasure chest filled with toys a model can still work with us, in fact, a model will often learn ways to improvise from us until she can afford to build up her collection of toys and equipment. Also, the studio has an investment fund from member contributions and we select deserving models every so often for investment projects.

Do I have to meet up in person?
No, while we do have models that are involved with us locally, Studio Innocent is a web based studio that works with adult models from all over the world. Due to the nature of platforms such as MyFreeCams, OnlyFans and ManyVids and the ability to work independently on such platforms, models do not have to meet up in person for training sessions or to work as a model. We do however encourage our remote models to visit in person.

Can I meet in person if I want to?
Yes, we are open to models visiting, and many have done so in the past.

How often do I have to work?
Models are allowed to set their own schedules, however we do expect some level of consistency with model activity and content production. Consistency helps a model build a following and improves chances of success in the industry. We do however require a model to do at least one training session per week and expect each model to set aside time for sessions when scheduled. This commitment averages about an hour a week. Outside of our minimum expectations for training sessions models are allowed to work when they wish and as long as they wish.

My schedule is pretty tight, can you still help me?
Studio Innocent does make special considerations for models who want to join us but aren’t able to dedicate as much time as they would like to their work due to other commitments. If all options, including weekend sessions, are unfeasible, models in such circumstances can be allowed to join for brand development. Such models must go through the same steps as any other model before being allowed to represent the Innocent brand. Models who are curious about working with us for brand development should contact us for more details.

Do I have to sign a contract?
In order to create a relaxed environment and reduce pressure on models, Studio Innocent does not use contracts. Studio Innocent does have policies and expectations that models must agree to commit to, however models are not bound to stay with the studio and can leave at any time. If a models is found to be in violation of agreed policies and expectations, they will be dismissed from the studio and no longer allowed to use the Innocent brand.

What if I want to quit?
While we do have certain terms and conditions pertaining to content created under our brand, as well as the continued use of the Innocent name, models can quit at any time. Models should ensure all obligations to the studio, such as content orders, are fulfilled before ending their relationship with Innocent.

I have some more questions. How can I contact the Studio?
You can contact the Studio Owner at talentscout01@innocent.com or through the contact form on this site. We recommend adding your contact information for ease of communication and a quicker response.
